What's Jameson up to?

This past week Jameson added some new things to his repertoire...
Last Wednesday, in the car, we were at a stop light and pointed out the red traffic light and that it means stop and when it turns green, then it means go.
The very next day, in the car, he noticed the first traffic light and said red. I asked him what red means and he said stop. From that day on, he pretty much notices every traffic light and says red or green, stop or go. Now, usually he says red, stop and I tell him to tell me when it's green. Sometimes he doesn't tell me and sometimes he says, "Mommy, green!" It's adorable! :)
Yesterday, Jameson added five to the numbers he knows...so, now he can count all of his fingers and thumb on one hand!
Jameson has been working on his ABCs and their sounds. It's cute...now, every time he sees a sign with letters or numbers on it, he wants to touch or point at it and says, "A" and then makes the A pronunciation sound. At least he is connecting writing to letters even if he thinks they are all A. :)
Yesterday, Jameson went to the kitchen table and pulled out a chair and sat down. This is nothing new. But, what came after this was sweet! He started saying "Birday" (the way he pronounces birthday) over and over, pointing at the centerpiece on the table with three large pillar candles in it. So, again, he is relating things...in this case, that candles go with birthdays!
Such a smart little guy! :)
